LES INSCRIPTIONS SONT OUVERTES POUR LA RENTRÉE 2025

Preschool

The Bilingual Montessori Preschool of Saint-Cloud – from 2½ to 5 years old

Children may join the preschool from the age of 2½, provided they are toilet-trained and up to date with their vaccinations. They are not grouped by age but, in accordance with Montessori pedagogy, placed in small mixed-age groups, where older children can help younger ones and, in doing so, reinforce their own skills.

"Help me do it by myself"

This approach contains the essence of Montessori pedagogy.

In just a few words, it sums up our objectives: to help the child grow and develop independence.

Respect for the child’s rhythm, control of the body and balance in space, sensory education and, through it, intellectual development, self-mastery and respect for others, freedom of choice in work—these are its main principles.
The Montessori preschool classroom, an emotional, social, and educational environment, is a lively space where children can move freely, choose their materials, and work independently or in small groups.
The child freely chooses their activity and completes it at their own pace, guided by an attentive, calm, and available teacher.

Activities take place within a flexible schedule, and the small group size allows for individualized attention that supports children throughout their learning.
Each class welcomes ten to fourteen children aged 2½ to 5. Older children naturally help younger ones and provide them with positive role models.

An older child who teaches a younger one does not fall behind. On the contrary, this process allows them to deepen their knowledge, analyze it, reorganize it, and reinforce it. In this atmosphere of mutual help and understanding, children discover the joy of learning.
